Embracing a New Era: Exciting Changes for Vista Hockey Club
As we gear up for the upcoming hockey season, we wanted to share some exciting changes and updates with you. This year marks the beginning of a new era for our high school athletes, and we are thrilled about the transformations taking place. Here's a rundown of what's new:
New Coaching Staff
We are delighted to introduce Matt Anthone as our new Hockey Director and Varsity Head Coach. Matt brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game, and we are confident that he will lead our team to new heights. His vision and dedication will be instrumental in shaping the future of Vista Hockey Club.
Transition to Vista Hockey Club
In an exciting development, we have become our own non-profit organization, separate from the high school CHSAA team. For the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL), we are now known as the Vista Hockey Club. While our name has changed, we have retained our team colors, allowing some equipment to be used across both seasons. This continuity ensures that our athletes can seamlessly transition between teams without additional expenses.
New Website and App
To enhance our communication and streamline operations, we have launched a new website and mobile app using Crossbar. This platform will be our central hub for all team-related information, schedules, and updates. We encourage all parents, players, and supporters to download the Crossbar app. Please note that we will no longer be using TeamSnap, so make sure to make the switch to stay connected.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that we can now take payments online through our new website. This means you no longer need to pay in person for season fees, making the process more convenient and efficient for everyone. If you prefer to pay in cash or by check, we can still do that as well. *During CHSAA season - we will need to take payments through a card reader in person since that is how the school prefers it.
New Uniforms
With our new team name comes a fresh look! We are excited to unveil our new team logo, proudly displayed on our new jerseys. The updated uniforms reflect our commitment to excellence and our unified spirit as Vista Hockey Club.
